TIDDOX's surface wipes vary in thickness, weight, absorbency, texture and the surface cleaning application. We have both general wiping products as well as niche speciality products.

In choosing the most appropriate product for a particular surface cleaning task, one needs to consider the both the task and the environment, as well as the desired outcome. In hygienic environments, such as hospitals, aged care residences and child care centres, as well as kitchen facilities throughout industries, one would prefer an antibacterial treated product, preferably colour coded so that it does not bring in germs from other areas. Often in these environments a disposable product is the best solution as it and any germs it has picked up can be thrown away after surface cleaning. By contrast, in an industrial or automotive environment, these factors are less important than perhaps the strength and durability of the product to absorb oils or solvents, or the lint-free characteristics required in certain preparation procedures or surface cleaning glass or metal.

TIDDOX's surface wipes category of products is as broad as it is deep. Our products are not all the same and are designed differently to handle different tasks. Wiping fabric with larger apertures in them will hold larger dust and dirt particles, whereas material with smaller apertures,or no apertures, are better suited to polishing tasks. Spunlace products generally leave more lint after wiping than a woodpulp polyester product, and weaves with higher viscose content will absorb more than those with more polyester in them. Furthermore, the thinner the material the less durable it will be than a thicker, heavier fabric.

The TIDDOX CLASSIC CLOTH range represents our medium duty (medium weight) spunlace product range, which are all manufactured with high proportions of viscose for better absorbency, and are apertured to better collect dust and dirt particles. The range is broken down into different sized pieces from 30cm x 60cm ("CLASSIC-300 ") to 45cm x 60cm ("CLASSIC-450 ") through to our CLASSIC 56M ROLL made up of 125 commercial pieces and the CLASSIC JUMBO ROLL made up of 600 industrial pieces for economical wiping use.

The TIDDOX PREMIUM CLOTH range represents our heavy duty (heavy weight) spunlace product range, which are all made a with high weightings of viscose for increased absorbency, and are have larger hole spacings to grab on to larger dust and dirt particles. The range is broken down into different sized cut pieces from 30cm x 60cm ("PREMIUM-300 ") to 60cm x 60cm ("PREMIUM-600 ") through to our PREMIUM 45M HEAVY DUTY ROLL treated in an antibacterial agent to prolong the life of the fabric against bacteria.

The premium flagship of the spunlace range are the OMNIWIPES , white hygienic surface wipes made almost entirely of viscose for maximum absorbency and treated with additional binder properties to minimise lint residue after wiping.

Finally, TIDDOX produces are range of thick, sponge material, called MAXI WIPES . These are highly absorbent, able to soak up vast amounts of liquid, providing a fast effective solutions to unwanted spills. They are also colour coded into Red, Yellow, Green and Blue. Very popular in restaurants, bars and other hospitality industries, as well as in healthcare, aged care and childcare facilities.

Colour coded surface cleaning products assist in the prevention of spreading germs from one area to another. Typically an area will be assigned its own colour cleaning items, for example washroom surface wipes will be red so as not to be confused with kitchen surface cleaners, which will be green.
